DAP Contact Cements

DAP Weldwood Contact Cement (Flammable) is “the Original” for use by roller, brush, or trowel. It is a polychloroprene based contact adhesive that specifically meets the stringent requirements of the professional user. This product’s high strength and initial grab make it well suited for specialty applications. Original contact cement offers 15-20 minute (dependent on temperature and humidity) dry time (ready to bond) with 1.5 to 2.0 hour assembly/working time. DAP Weld Wood “Original” contact cement is recommended for binding decorative laminates, veneers, and metal to wood, and other surfaces. Applications include laminate, veneer, wood, plastic, metal and more. Bonds become more strong and resistant as they age. (See Information Sheet for more Information)

DAP Weldwood Contact Cement (Non-Flammable) for use on decorative laminants, veneers, foam, cloth, paper, cork, leather, wood, particle board, plywood, & drywall. It is a high solids polychlorophrene water-borne contact adhesive that specifically meets the stringent requirements of the professional user. This product offers 30-40 minute dry time (dependent on temperature and humidity) and 2.5-3.0 hour assembly front/working time.
